Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of the MyVetTec platform as a pet owner or veterinary technician.
1. The MyVetTec platform
MyVetTec operates a marketplace that connects pet owners with independent veterinary technicians offering mobile, in-home supportive care. MyVetTec is not a veterinary practice, does not employ the technicians listed on the platform, and does not provide veterinary medical services.
2. Not an emergency service
The platform must not be used to obtain emergency care. In an emergency, contact a veterinarian or emergency veterinary hospital directly. Technicians do not diagnose conditions or prescribe medication.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity on your account. Technicians must hold and maintain valid credentials and must complete MyVetTec's verification process before accepting paid appointments.
4. Bookings
A booking is a direct service agreement between the pet owner and the technician. MyVetTec facilitates scheduling, communication and payment but is not a party to the care provided.
5. Payments, fees and refunds
Pet owners pay MyVetTec at the time of booking. MyVetTec retains a platform fee and payment processing fee as shown at checkout and remits the remainder to the technician after the appointment is completed. Cancellations made outside the stated refund window are refunded in full; later cancellations may incur a cancellation fee.
6. Conduct
Users must not harass, discriminate against or endanger others, must not take transactions off-platform to avoid fees, and must not submit false reviews. Technicians may not solicit or manipulate reviews about themselves.
7. Suspension and removal
MyVetTec may suspend or remove any account for violations of these terms, lapsed credentials, failed verification, or conduct that puts animals or people at risk.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MyVetTec is not liable for the acts or omissions of technicians or pet owners, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
9. Changes
We may update these terms and will notify users of material changes. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
