Information we collect
Account details (name, email, phone, address), pet profiles (species, breed, age, medical conditions, medications and care instructions), appointment and messaging history, reviews, and — for technicians — professional credentials, certification documents and background check results.
Payment information
Card details are collected and stored by our payment processor. MyVetTec never stores raw card numbers. We retain only transaction records such as amounts, fees, status and payout history.
How we use information
To operate the marketplace: match owners with technicians, schedule and confirm appointments, enable in-platform messaging, process payments and payouts, verify credentials, moderate reviews, prevent fraud and abuse, and send service notifications.
What we share
Technicians see the pet and care information needed to perform a booked visit, and receive your full service address only after an appointment is confirmed. Exact home addresses are never shown in search. We share data with payment, background check and infrastructure providers under contract, and where required by law.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile and pet records at any time, block other users, control notification preferences, and request deletion of your account. Some records are retained where required for legal, tax or dispute purposes.
Security
Access to data is restricted by role and enforced at the database level. Certification documents and message content are private to their participants and authorized administrators.
