About MyVetTec

Our mission

Pets who are aging, medically dependent, recovering from a procedure or living with special needs often do best in familiar surroundings. MyVetTec exists to make that kind of care accessible by connecting pet owners directly with credentialed veterinary technicians who travel to the home.

What a veterinary technician does

Veterinary technicians are trained, credentialed animal-health professionals. On MyVetTec they provide supportive care such as home visits, medication administration, post-procedure monitoring, mobility and comfort support, overnight care and transport to veterinary appointments — always within their legally permitted scope of practice and under the direction of your pet's veterinarian.

What we are not

MyVetTec is not a veterinary hospital and is not an emergency service. Technicians on the platform do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medication or replace your veterinarian's care plan.

How we screen

Every technician applying to MyVetTec submits identity details, professional credentials and certification documentation, and completes a background check before they can accept paid appointments. Certifications are tracked for expiry and technicians are prompted to re-verify.

How we handle money

Pet owners pay MyVetTec at the time of booking. We retain a transparent platform fee and pass the remainder to the technician on a scheduled payout. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never stored on MyVetTec servers.
